Collaboration Tools
Here we describe some tools or software that help with group collaboration. The use of collaborative software in the workspace creates a collaborative working environment (CWE). A collaborative working environment supports people in both their individual and cooperative work thus giving birth to a new class of professionals, e-professionals, who can work together irrespective of their geographical location.

- is a collaborative project execution software. It is a free, Open-Source, PHP application for managing tasks, projects and teams through an intuitive web interface. It is a web-based project-management tool. Basecamp offers to-do lists, wiki-style web-based text documents, milestone management, file sharing, time tracking, and a messaging system.
To see realtime writing that would help to take notes for a person or in a larger group or for example for programmers to write a code, there are online whiteboards and note taking software.
