Chapter 3

COPING WITH BIG GROUP SIZE

Scenario: A teacher has a very big class and has some problems with making sure that all of them get the support they need. He has an idea that maybe he should develop some ways to utilise technology and peer students to support learning. That way he would save his time to give his attention to the ones that really need it. How could he organize teaching so that the learning would be effective? How to ensure sufficient support for the students during their learning process? How could the students benefit from each others expertise? What kind of technological tools could he use?
